Installing Re-Issued RC CDs

It is recommended that you carry out this procedure every time you are sent a re-issued RC CD.

1. Place the most recent re-issued RC CD in the CD-ROM drive.
   
   
2. From within the ARCS for GIS Maintenance Program, select the Install Raster Data option from the Install Data Menu. The Install Raster Data dialog will appear.
   
   
3. From within the Install Raster Data dialog, click the Install Catalogue button. The following message will appear. Click Yes to continue.

   

   The following message may also appear. If this message does appear, click Yes to continue.

   

   
   
   
4. Once the Catalogue file has been installed you will be returned to the Install Raster Data dialog, and the charts contained within the catalogue file will be displayed in the Licenced Charts box at the bottom of the dialog. Only charts contained on the relevant RC CD will be displayed.
   
   A final check you can make to ensure that the catalogue file has been installed successfully is to refer to the ARCS for GIS Maintenance window in the main application. You should see a message confirming that the catalogue file has been installed successfully.
   
   
5. From within the Install Raster Data dialog click the Add All button. All the charts listed in the Licenced Charts box will now be installed on your system. The progress of the installation will be shown in the ARCS for GIS Maintenance window in the main application.
   
   
6. All the charts on the re-issued CD have now been installed.
